The Village at Manor Park is the corporate name for a family of senior retirement communities and health care services owned and operated by a single not-for-profit Christian based company.  It is also the name of one specific location.

Wisconsin Residents May Have Lower Vitamin D Levels in Winter
Winter in Wisconsin can be tough even for those who love the cold and snow. This year was a tough one. The Wisconsin Medical Journal recently published the results of a study in Madison that looked at vitamin D levels in 71 women age 70 and older.

Study Shows Dramatic Improvements in Heart Condition With In-Home Nocturnal Dialysis
A study funded by the Kidney Foundation of Canada and published the Journal of American Medical Association (JAMA September 2007) indicates in-home dialysis at night six times a week showed improvements that included a decrease in left ventricular mass, a common problem for patients with kidney disease. Such in-home "nocturnal" treatment was compared to conventional treatment in dialysis centers three times a week. This is the first study completed to compare in-home treatment to conventional in-center care.
