Pastoral Care
A Ministry of Healing
The mission of the Department of Pastoral Care and its programs of Clinical Pastoral Education are to address the spiritual and emotional needs of residents, families, staff and those in the community-at-large who are experiencing the stress of aging and age-related illness, in order to promote successful aging within the context of Christian faith and values.
The Chaplains are normally here during daytime business hours. However, there is a Chaplain on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week. You can ask your nurse or a staff member to request a Chaplain's visit.
The Chaplains offer the opportunity for residents to attend weekly Roman Catholic Mass and Ecumenical Worship Services; Bible Studies; Inspirational gatherings; as well as one on one pastoral visits with a Chaplain.
