Extended Program
The Extended Unit of CPE at VMP meets for educational hours one day each from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Depending on already established work in outside ministry settings, each student will be required to do 4-8 hours of ministry at VMP each week for the duration of the program. During the program, evening and week-end on-call shifts will be covered by the students in accordance to a prepared, yet flexible, schedule. Students will also have the opportunity to preach for a Sunday morning Ecumenical Worship Service.
Summer Intensive Program
This is a 10-12 week unit, usually beginning the day after Memorial Day and concluding in early to mid-August. This is a full-time program which meets the same objectives as explained in the Extended Program above, but with a more condensed schedule.
