In collaboration with VMP’s Art and Recreation Therapists, Palmer House and Maplewood Artists painted Iris Gardens using watercolors. Their beautiful artwork has been turned into greeting cards. This year they chose to paint Iris Gardens because of what the purple Iris symbolizes to Alzheimer’s. Purple is the signature color of Alzheimer’s because of the combining of blue and red. Blue represents calm and stability where red claims passion and energy. Together they create purple which shows our unrelenting strength and fight against Alzheimer’s disease.

These cards are great for all occasions! $7 for a pack of 8 cards + envelopes! All proceeds benefit the Alzheimer’s Association Wisconsin Chapter. If you are interested please contact Stephanie Astrin at (414) 607-4235.
