Discover how water flowed through the Milwaukee area prior to the 1800s and how our relationship to water has changed over time and across space. Join VMP and Michael Timm for this FREE presentation on Wednesday, March 22nd at 1:30pm to learn how water flow has changed over time in Milwaukee. Michael Timm, Milwaukee Water Storyteller with the nonprofit organization Reflo, will reveal hidden water stories in an engaging presentation using the interactive Milwaukee Community Map in Google Earth.

Do you know what watershed you live in? Do you know what green infrastructure projects are helping to manage water in your city? Do you know the ways that Milwaukee is taking leadership as a “water-centric city”? Do you know how you can make a difference in our collective water story? You will after exploring the Milwaukee Community Map and its many facets with Timm, who holds a master’s degree in freshwater sciences from UW-Milwaukee and who curates this unique interactive resource as part of Reflo’s innovative Milwaukee Water Stories program.
